Really can it get any better than this...to a farmer that is a pivot. but to a kid- that is the ultimate sprinkler. Nothing can beat that. someday i will tell my kids that this is what their mom and her brother and sisters sometimes did for fun- running through the pivots- of course NEVER when there was chemicals or fertilizers pumping thorough...no instead we just closed our mouths and plugged our noses. JK really I am. my husband does not think that is the least bit funny.
But anyways I was thinking how I really want to live on some wide open spaces. That would be so nice to just let my kids roam..and then I had a REALITY CHECK and it kinda mad me sad, but then ya know what living .5 min for the grocery store and seeing the temple from my kitchen window- I think I can be pretty happy with that too. SO I guess what the ol' timers say is true- If you make your mind up- you can be happy anywhere. I hate it when they are right!

I love the pictures of the farm. Brings back lots of memories. I miss the peace and quite of the farm sometimes too. I would like to find a place that has the best of both worlds. I think Shawn and Kristy live in a nice small town close to the city. I need to get out of this big city too.
Meg had a lot of fun with the kids. I know what you mean about being happy where you are. I often complain about how far I live from everything, but I too love love love the open spaces for my kids. My dad says this...the grass is always green on the otherside...but it still has to be mowed :) thus, everywhere you go is great, but no matter what it's gonna have it's cons too. nothing's perfect, but everything can make you happy!
that really is gorgeous. I can definitely see how you would miss it a bit =0).
That looked like alot of fun! What a beautiful time of year out there... all that green grass. And just to let your kids roam free on it seems peaceful. Cami thought the sprinkler was awesome. :)
My kids are going to be jealous when they see these pictures. Did you ever tell Erza how Pam taught you to get your legs wet with chemicals to attract the sun? or when your other sister would squirt you with chemical for not paying attention when you were driving? I just had a flashback of my toes in flip flops covered with dirt with little specs of where the chemicals had gotten on my feet. We all turned out fine, the sun was probably our worst enemy and we were really trying to soak that one up. I have to say I love where we live right now. We are only about 3 miles from all I need and I love the open space for the kids to play. There are some advantages for being close.
