IDOL

WEll I almost forgot to post this monumental moment...I went to my first concert...Yes I am 28 yrs. old and have never been to a concert unless you count the Benton County fair with some honky tonk cowboy. And here is the kicker...it was an American Idol Concert. But it was a lot of fun...I went to Portland with my sis and niece Allie...Great Time..oh and did I mention I got to spend the night without my lovely children...

I had to take a picture of my sister in her DAVID shirt.. yes all 35.00 of it! Jenni you are such a nerd..but that is why I am so glad she's my sister because I would never do half of these semi obnoxious things and it is great sister bonding time.

Summer photos

Just a few pics..nothing exciting to "show and tell". Brooke just saying cheese to the camera and wearing her snow hats and gloves...she has a fetish with hooded sweaters, hats and shoes..I am assuming it is the age..lets hope because when it is 100 degrees outside , she wants her hat and sweater on...yes I have gotten a few looks, but I have surrendered a long time ago! I started looking at some of these pictures I recently took and realized that Kate really needs some fashion 911... oh well..she thinks she is the most beautiful princess so I will just let her keeping thinking that...because one day she will start thinking like an silly adult...SAD day...

Playing in the lovely turtle pit! They love playing in the sand....just a pain to clean up...I am still finding sand in Brooke's hair from Tuesday..I know gross..But At least I don't have cat pooping in it right?

Wedding number 2!!

Here are some pictures of the big event...

My sister Pam and her lovely family at the Salt Lake Temple

Me and all my sisters..don't have a clue about the basket-ball...Dedre- ya need to photo shop that...

My sisters and me at the temple.

And this picture pretty much sums up how the temple part went for us..hot, hungry and TIRED! and don't worry..kate has kicked the Binky-but she really felt she needed brooke's at the moment...

Both my beautiful niece's,

Reception

Thank goodness the reception was outside..The kids loved it! It was so PRETTY...

Allie and My sister in law Cindy

Grandma Schulthies and my sister's

Hello hayley...did you know your daughter is running with a sucker??

Sprinkler..not part of the plan...but ya know i didn't even flinch one bit..even though those sweet little dresses were dry-clean ONLY

This was the Best part..

Evie..taking a break from the sprinkler

The little boy cousins all in their blue and orange shirts..I just loved seeing them run all in a flock..it was so cute!

ok...fine I will stop with pictures!

All in all the wedding was beautiful! The only thing that was missing was mom and dad....but being able to spend time with most all my brother's and sister's and their families x-ed out all the screaming, tantrums, fender benders, scorned looks when walking into a store and cooper's ability to operate the sprinkler system at Seven peaks and chase away many angry sun bathers...(my sister's blog has the whole story)was well worth the effort!

oh and they lived happily ever after... ha ha!

Journey to Zion

two Cars, three adults and nine kids- what does that equal...One HELL of a road trip!

My two sisters and I made the trek from Washington to utah for our niece shante' s wedding. It went something like this:

Snacks and way too much junk for the kids: $73.86

Eats: 269.35

Water park passes 66.98

Gas: loan pending

Seeing my sister Jenni drive an H3 Hummer with three car seats strapped in the back...PRICELESS

Yes that was my master card moment of the trip..and we did have many other priceless moments and unfortunately some pricey ones too...but we all made it home safe and sound and had a great time so I guess it was a real good BUST!

How does your Garden grow?

so Kate and I planted this garden last week.. we are a little late in the season but its done. I know all of you are thinking that this is going to be a buster to harvest! yea I know..but ezra was so excited about planting this garden that I just went along with it. To just name a few, he has four jalapeno plants and 6 tomato plants...I'm mostly excited for my white pumpkins.. anyways for all of you that live near by I will happily share my bountiful harvest with you..and considering how late we are on planting it, I am sure we still will have stuff sprouting in November!
