Good Bye's

So sunday was my parents farewell..they are going on a mission to Baltimore Maryland. I don't even like to think about my mom and dad leaving or really like to write about it because it just makes me way too sad and I am not ready for the flood gates to open yet...so I will just leave it at some pictures of the family on their farewell.

Here are most of my mom's brothers and sisters and their spouses...little family trivia..there are two sets of twins in this picture. and they are only 16 months apart..yes my Grandma was a saint! ( my mom is one of them with her brother, and then a set of idenical twins..can you guess?!)

I wish my other sisters could have been here for this picture..but just like me they will miss my mom tons too..along with countless others!

I just had to post this picture..because I think this is one of the the things I am going to miss most about my dad..coming into the house and seeing my dad sound asleep on couch with his scriptures on his chest...I love you dad! OK that is enough emotional writing for me, but I don't think any of us know what we are going to do with out them. Thank goodness its only for 18 months! ( that still seems like forever)!

Hide and Go seek

So lately hide and seek has been one Kate's favorite games..if you have not introduced this game to your child..I highly recommend to KEEP it that way! I could not help but laugh at Kate's hiding places...I think she thinks that if she can't see me I can't see her..so here are some of her top hiding places.

Sturgeon Anyone?

ok so most people know that my husband is in love with anything and everything that has to do with fish....He just went sturgeon fishing and caught 4 fish on the Columbia river. It really kind of freaks me out to think I go wake boarding in that river with those fish..anyways he got to keep one of the fish. And I get to look at it everyday when I open my freezer..yummo! REally I think it is quite disgusting. I really have no interest in fishing, but I promised him that I would go fishing with him the next time he goes..I know -I'm a saint for a wife..so anyways here are a few pics...

This is the fun part where Ezra likes to fry up ol' stanley the sturgeon! Brooke thought it was great!..I was a good sport and tried it while trying not to dry heave.
