Splish Splash!

Its starting to look a lot like summer around here! We opened our pool! The kids just love this ghetto 5ft. wide piece of hud! As you can see in the picture kate can't get enough, cooper can drain and fill the pool in less than 5 min. (he is in the process of draing in the picture) And the best part is that when brooke craps herself and we have some leakage in the pool it takes a meager 5 min to empty and refill! The kids think they have died and gone to heaven!
ok so grandma and grandpa had to show us up and open their pool too...brooke is a little happier in these pictures..but don't let that fool you...she really does love the 2 footer too...

And this is a just a little funny picture of brooke..she loves to put clothes and shoes on and a couple of nights ago she came out with kate's pull-ups on...great new look huh!

Kodak Moments?

ok so I know I have not posted for a VERY long time..and really I wish I could tell you about a fabulous trip with a ton cool pictures showing all the cool touristy things we did or a fun weekend with girls plucking each others eyebrows...jk about the plucking eyebrows part..anyways so no exciting pics... So I guess I have no excuse for the lack of posts..other than I didn't think I could fool anyone trying to glamorize my life of wiping butts, cleaning up missed toilets accidents, wiping more butts, hearing "I'm hungry or can I have a Popsicle" for the tenth time and it's only 9:00 in the morning, allowing my 3 year daughter to dress like she is homeless, getting slapped on the butt by my 3yr. in the grocery store and trying to act like she is playing a game and not really trying to beat me up...and then by 5:00 realizing that kate is on her 8th Popsicle and is still asking for just ONE more, brooke has pooped her limit of diapers for the day, and I can't get the stink of baby poop off my hands not matter how much I wash them! oh yea for the top excitement of the day.... a happy meal lunch at a NEW park! so I guess my Kodak moments might be little mundane...but hey I know someday I am going to look back and miss these days..but believe me I won't be looking back too long! So here are the top 5 highlights of our week....



1. kate's new princess sea urchin swim goggles...I know you want a pair.

2. kate and brooke playing in the dirt...give them a couple of jars and shovels and they are pretty happy....

3. Kate's cookie bake off...she makes a batch a day..YUM!

4. A moment with cousin cooper..they have a love hate relationship

5. Lastly, kate finds that just wearing her BIG girls are much less restricting..oh and I know our yard is a weed pile...but someday I am going to have the best EVER Yard Makeover post ..until then have at it KIDS!
so pretty much that summs up our days....and really I can't wait for more!
