ok so I don't think I can even come closing to topping my sister's post....hmm tricia you must really want some brownie points from mom! but everything she wrote was the absolute truth.
So mother happy birthday!
Fun and intresting facts about my mom:
She was called beanie in High School..Her name is Berniel Schulthies Hartley
She is a fraternal twin. Her twin is Brent Schuthies.
She really does not have one enemy..ok maybe the state patrol..but they even start to like her
because she helps them meet their quotas for the month.
She loves pretty little bottles and jars..she even admitted to me once that she sometimes buys nail polish or a candle just because of the jar it is in. I think I slightly might have that problem.
She has never got stuck in a fashion era...she has always been at the top of her game. Only once or twice me or jenni had to intervene...ha ha.
She loves ann murry. her favorite song is "Can I Have this dance"
She likes to eat soggy cereal..mom I am starting to understand how that happen....many times by the time I get to my cereal it is sogged up..and I think oh my gosh I can't believe I am eating this..but ya it has started to grow on me..
She hates dirty dishes and dirty laundry..beware if you spend the night at Bernile's house..your underwear may be missing when you wake up..
My mom let her children or should I say the tail-enders eat ice-cream before dinner. Mom I know you don't remember that but I have witnesses.
My mom never yelled at my dad for trooping his dirty shoes all over her clean floor..but I did!!
My mom talks to my dad while he went to the bathroom..is that too personal? but really is that LOVE or what!
My mom never talks about her weight..or obsessed about her looks..heck she was too busy taking care of everyone else!
My mom is a fixer. She taught me how to unclog and toilet, sink and disposal.
My mom likes to cook meat till it is dead. I too have a hate for blood. Ezra has had to get used to this.
My mom has an amazing memory for telephone numbers..she practically has the whole ward memorized.
My mom always has chocolate in the house somewhere. esp. m&m's.
My mom would always tell me I was her best friend. OK along with the rest of you she told that to...
When I had a bad day in college and I would call and cry to her, you could bet in couple days I would have a package on my doorstep..she still does that now.
Well I hope you got to know my mom a little bit better. Isn't she amazing..Ok I can this because its her birthday to today and she really is.
Mom HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Ready tricia's post almost made me cry because I remember all those good ol' days driving with you to town and you telling me stories about my grandpas and grandmas. Little did I know how precious those car rides were. and to think how I hated to go to town! I would love now to ride in the car with you and just talk....someday we will have those days again.. I love you!

You remembered everything Hayley! This was so fun to read and to laugh about. I know when I go home I secretly want to ride with mom into town just so I can talk to her.
Yeah, that was funny about the phone numbers. I wonder if she is going to forget a few when she gets home?? If she doesn't know she guesses and is usually right! I bet aunt shelly and launa are going to miss her this year. not trip to pendleton!! And ya i use to fall asleep everyday laying on her lap riding home from town. Why can't my kids do the same??
Your mom is like Mary Poppins. Practically Perfect in every way! I feel sooo blessed to have her as my mother-in-law!
Telephone numbers Yes yes yes! And the ice cream before dinner is the one thing that used to baffle Scott the most when we would come to visit. He would always say "how come your family can eat ice cream right before dinner and still eat a full meal?" To this day he is always saying... No you can't have ice cream before dinner, we are not the Hartleys. So funny!!
made me cry! good one hayley. your mom is amazing...i think you take after her because i think you are too. i love you! xo
