Dad's Pants
ok so I have to write this down or I will forget it..because unlike most wonderful and diligent mothers..I never write down the cute and funny things my kids do or say..but I am writing this one down because I just think it is so darn funny..and I will tell you why in a second. Yesterday I got home and kate came to greet me in the garage and said...mama mama come and look at daddy's pants! (They were really shorts) anyways I said what? come mom, just come with me and look at dad's pants! So I walked into the house and ezra was wearing some grey plaid shorts..then kate shouts mom look! they are so embarrassing! ezra and I just started busting up..and then she asks mom my pants are not embarrassing right? No kate, your pants are just fine...(with a ballerina pink skirt hanging out over her pants) This is so funny to me because those who see kate's wardrobe on a daily basis know that social pressure has not even crossed her mind so for her to think that her dad was wearing embarrassing shorts is beyond me. But it made me a little sad yesterday to think that she is starting to come to the realization of socially accepted dress. But I am sure I won't have to worry long because today was another interesting choice of threads!

Kate is so funny. Isn't it great how kids come up with the most amusing things to say! We can't wait to come out there and hang out with you guys and your girls. Mason & Kate will have to compete for craziest outfits.
That is precious!!!! She may just turn into a high maintenance babe!
The funny thing is...maybe her current choice of threads are going to be the fashion soon. Maybe she's a trend setter and Ezra needs to get a ballet skirt.
When did you turn into such a good blogger girl?
Tell Ezra Josh dresses in really embarassing clothing as well (jk Josh). Liv's latest has been to tell us that everything is 'awesome,' and it totally makes me laugh (my guess is she does not know what awesome means).

Hayley! Oh Kate! What a funny girl. I love that she was using the word embarassing. And I've been meaning to call you. I can't believe I missed the chance to hang out with you guys here! Our phone was MIA! (You know when it's on vibrate and lost so you can't find it anywhere) and I got your message days later. :( So sad. Anyways, your blogging is keeping me entertained so keep it up.

I blog hopped from Jennilyn's blog, I hope you don't mind. This is such a cute story. Kids start to pick up on stuff fast. It is sad when kids start to have that realization...when Hailey was in Kindergarten, someone made fun of her coat on the bus. It broke my heart, and made me mad because it was a cute coat and she never wanted to wear it again.
Hey! I just wanted to say hi. It's only been like 10 years, give or take. I can't believe we're having our first class reunion in less than three months!
